Building Better Bones - 6 week course

Yoga Therapy is a natural and holistic approach to health care, with each session personalised to the needs of the individual and their health journey.

As a contemporary practice, the ancient traditions of yoga are integrated with Western medicine and psychological knowledge. It recognises that our health and well-being are intimately linked to our physical and emotional states, our dietary and behavioural patterns, our lifestyle and our environment. Through carefully selected practices, yoga therapy can help manage and reduce symptoms, restore balance, increase vitality, and bring a little peace within.

Incorporated into the practice may be: yoga, as gentle movement for strengthening, balance and flexibility; breath work for calming the nervous system; and mindful eating, mudra and mantra practices, meditation and relaxation to improve your immunity and sense of wellbeing.

While not offering a cure Yoga Therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of illnesses and chronic conditions, including but are not limited to: Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Anxiety and Depression, Eating and Food issues, Osteoporosis and Osteopenia.
